When To Look?
We suggest you ideally contact us 8 - 12 weeks before the position is due to start. The overall recruitment process can be completed in some cases in a few days but it is worth allowing extra time as many carers will be looking to find their next position before giving notice on their current one. (Usually 4 - 6 weeks) You will also want to see a range of applicants so that you can be confident in your choice.
If your position is not the 'ideal' nanny job, for example you need a nanny to work very long hours the position may take longer to fill so having more notice is preferable. Your Lollipop consultant will be able to advise you of any issues that you may face as soon as you register your vacancy details and will help you to decide on a plan of action to address any potential problems.
